hauntingly beautiful

My lover stayed in Lebanon, on the sixth floor of an apartment building with magnificent red theatre curtains shading the balcony. Since this is the only building left standing (the others collapsed in a giant heap), I imagine my lover was able to circumvent the bombing by drawing the curtains shut.

tea and vinegar

on being bitten by a bat

tight
alkalinic
tannic soft
mixed together tea and buffered milk
hydrophobic/hydrophilic
no blood in the mirror when i checked
death in a little black fuzz cape
actually, are they not brown?
brown is tangential
going to london
extrinsic/china bird in the cupboard/ finding things in really odd places
am i foaming yet , there isn't enough time to finish the canvas in that case

i better write the words soon and stop the things i don't want, like the daily news and the clear liquids...

when it becomes product

when i want to know who looks, how to get them to look, how to get them to love then it is product is is manufacturing it is business not pure not honest not even very friendly. i've been making for the last 10 days straight and i feel overwhelmingly wrungout. took a lot longer than i thought. 4 big canvases, still working on those. papers too, but got to move on what to do with them, showing, framing, what is framing, it's display, it's marketability, isn't that back to selling and whoring? running all sorts of directions ultimately quite fast, like background static. gotta write something today too, was a promise. must keep those. promises. must. yes. mittens would be good, puffy things around my noisy parts.

ba(th)ing

realized it had been a while, couldn't actually recall when. how grand! tired, all that bathing i've come undone and bits, an arm i think, floated off...

how many of these are there?

blogs i mean. buckets of blogs. billions like carl's stars. gobs. oodles.
way better than journals, for one thing i can read this afterwards... of course that may or may not be such an attribute. after all, last entry about prismed nasal effluvient.

B ark rejects

( love douglas adams )
insurance agents are not even good enough for the B ark. at times. don't like em. nope. not a bit. send them into space with crusts and rags i say!

kinda banal

gee, happy in my realm becomes kinda cloying, dotcha say? i do. hmm. odd that i do pain much better, the skatingpond of the terminally iced. i guess.

a few thoughts:
1) odd that men can be rogues but girls are seen as, well, wrong, that way. ( x-men makes that a murdering offence, her crime of roguery ) why does marriage, singledom, or even being paired , ie: not condemned to solitude, define the woman so? i never used to give it a second thought, for ages ( aeons in fact ) and now it's in my consciousness. what's with that? is life just a 3 act play with girls and guys and gay repartee. where is my inner noel coward. i'm thinking way too much about this, i can tell...

2) also, if help, you've fallen, and you can't get up, it doesn't matter how old or not that you are, you are still in big trouble.

that's it.

happy note

last night on hot street after sun went down everybody happy those of us who sat outside moved slowly succumbing to it all eating icecreams and frothy freeze in tall chill glass leaving fingerprinting with smiles to strangers reading sipping pavement heat pouring more cold water watching the people who smiled too especially the ones with the bikes and the huge cut watermelons and ribbons in their hair noone minded not a single drop of sweat

not fond of trucks

weeblewobbling brutes.
