jut had one of those moments when a word degrades

when you say it and suddenly it dissolves into a meaningless noise

and you say it over and over and the neurons don't connect they just

limp
and the word goes slipshod into wormhole and back but isn't ever the same after, just a version of itself, artificial and suspect
slightly yellower than when it left, with a light buzzing sound
