I was going to leave a brief description of what I saw in the picture, as before, but it turned into a poem:

Waiting on the Shore
By Tiffany Briand

The mother, her son, her daughter.
All dreamers, all quiet,
All watching the nervous gray of the ocean
From the shore.
It's not a beach day, it's a purgatory.
Will he come back?
Father
Is somewhere out there, in a boat,
On the freezing,
Off-kilter,
Steel mechanism of the sea.
He is way out where the water is rough and angry,
And where the fog is pressing down on him,
Trying to smother him,
Like a dream;
It is like a dream for them too.
The waiting family is afraid, cold, afraid,
But silent;
Each is afraid to share their fears
And worry the others,
But they all fear the same.
They all want him back.
They want him back to feel his warmth,
Hear his voice,
Remember his love.
But
He is somewhere out there,
Making a living on the treacherous waters,
Somewhere all too real for him,
But only imagined for the rest of the family.
For him, icy waves:
Chopping,
Crashing,
Reaching,
Fighting,
Reaching into the boat and clawing at him
And the other men.
He dreams of seeing his family soon;
Of taking sanction from the waves.
His family dreams of him.
One family, dreaming the same, but
Living apart.
